HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

If you can steer clear of petty distractions over the coming year there is every possibility that you will accomplish something not just good but great. Learn to switch off from other people’s voices and listen instead to the voice that comes from within.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you put a name to your desires today and over the weekend friends and loved ones will go out of their way to make them happen for you. Even if your requests are on the outrageous side they will see to your needs with no questions asked.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The message of the stars today is that you must treat other people the way you would like them to treat you. It won’t always be easy considering some of the stupid things they get up to, so make a conscious decision not to be judgmental.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The thrill of doing something that more conservative types will disapprove of will be too much to resist today, but don’t push your luck too far. How thrilling do you think it will be if people in positions of power decide to make an example of you?

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You may think you have enough cash in your pocket to splash out on a long list of luxury items but the planets warn there could be some major expenses coming up that you had not budgeted for, so make sure you keep enough in reserve.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The more colleagues try to impress on you how important it is to stick to tried and trusted ways of doing things the more determined you will be to take a different route. If routine matters bore you – and they do – then give them a miss.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You may be one of the more practical members of the zodiac but that does not mean you cannot be a free thinker as well, and what you are working on will certainly require a more innovative approach. Surprise people with your offbeat attitude.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You are so full of confidence at the moment that you don’t care who falls out if you rock the boat. What you should care about though is how easily your actions could turn would-be allies into long-term enemies. Try not to be quite so provocative.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Authority figures have been looking favourably on you of late, so much so that you have been allowed to get away with things that previously you would have been criticized for. Don’t push your luck too far though. There are always limits.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You don’t have to ask anyone’s permission if you want to get away for a while – just pack a bag and hit the road. The more some people say it’s too risky to leave the safety of home the more determined you will be to visit faraway places.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

A clash of egos is coming to the boil and while it may not be pretty it will at least clear away the bad blood. Some people act as if they must always have at least one “enemy” on the go, but you don’t have to think like that.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Reach out to a friend or loved one today and let them know how much you care. Sometimes you take it too much for granted that other people are aware that you appreciate their efforts, but they cannot read minds, so spell it out for them.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You have allowed other people’s behaviour to rile you to such an extent that you feel it is your duty to say something about it. Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t but your words are unlikely to have much effect. Seriously, why waste your breath?
