Bonner teamed up with Adidas for the first time back in 2020, and ever since, her collaborations with the brand have been known for their preppy, colorful aesthetics and their reference to African, Caribbean, and Black British cultural history.

The highly anticipated Wales Bonner x Adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2024 collection merges 90s hip-hop aesthetics with refined craftsmanship, reimagining classic Adidas sneakers and sportswear. They celebrate New York’s street culture, street photography, and luxury fashion.
Wales Bonner has commented on her latest collection:
“I wanted to create something that felt box-fresh with a certain sheen to it.” To me, it was about creating something polished and soulful at the same time.”
The Wales Bonner x Adidas collection showcases a modern spin on iconic sneaker designs like the Samba OG and Millennium, featuring luxurious materials such as crocodile-embossed leather and vibrant colors. It includes options, such as a rich brown Samba OG and a cream croc Superstar accented with deep blue.
The apparel collection harmoniously fuses retro and modern styles through vibrant floral intarsia knits and striking tracksuits in bold color pairings, showcasing Wales Bonner’s commitment to meticulous artistry and meaningful materiality. It also embodies that spirit that can enhance classic streetwear pieces with premium materials and artisan design and seamlessly blend high fashion with sportswear.
The campaign for the collection has been captured in Harlem by photographer Renell Medrano, who brings the collection to life with soulful, polished visuals. It features a notable cast, such as professional skaters Carlisle Aikens and Kader Sylla.
