Veezu Supports NSPCC Childline Cymru with Christmas Fundraising Campaign

Date:

Veezu, the UK’s fastest-growing taxi and private hire vehicle (PHV) business, has announced its partnership with NSPCC Childline Cymru this December through its ‘Funded by Veezu’ initiative.

For every journey booked via the Veezu app throughout the month, a portion of the revenue will be donated to help ensure children in Wales have access to vital support services this Christmas.

The festive season can be a challenging time for many, especially vulnerable children who rely on the support and resources provided by Childline Cymru, the firm said. With Veezu’s contribution, the charity will continue providing critical services, such as counselling, advice, and a safe space for young people in need.

Sally Krouma, Marketing Manager at Veezu, said:

“At Veezu, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and the work of NSPCC Childline Cymru resonates deeply with our values. By donating a proportion of our app booking revenue, we hope to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people across Wales during this special time of year.”

Hywel Peterson, Chairman of NSPCC Cymru, added:

“We are incredibly grateful to Veezu for their generosity and support through the Funded by Veezu initiative. Every donation helps us continue our mission to protect children and ensure they have someone to turn to in their darkest moments. This partnership will make a significant impact during a time when our services are needed more than ever.”
