Trio of New-to-Wales Brands at St David’s Cardiff

Date:

Fashion brand Pull&Bear, which offers street-inspired casualwear for men and women with a young mindset, is the latest of a trio of new-to-Wales stores to launch at St David’s Cardiff.

With nearly 1,000 stores worldwide, Pull&Bear offers a casual line for teens alongside relaxed, easy-to-wear garments for adult consumers. Its latest launch is a capsule collection of partywear fronted by influencer, artist, and model Dixie D’Amelio.

The new Pull&Bear is now open at St David’s Cardiff with a 12,000 sq ft store on the upper level of the Grand Arcade, next to the Apple store.

Pull&Bear’s launch follows hot on the heels of the arrival of British women’s fashion brand Sosandar and Danish homeware store Sostrene Grene – with all three making their Welsh debut at St David’s.

Opening earlier this month, Sosandar was co-founded as an online store by two friends with more than 20 years’ experience in fashion magazines before becoming one of the fastest growing fashion brands in the UK. With an in-house design studio, Sosandar offers quality, trend-led products for women at affordable prices.

Meanwhile, family-owned ‘cosy and creative’ lifestyle brand Sostrene Grene has already attracted a cult following since launching last month for its Scandinavian-inspired products for the home and creative pursuits. Its offering ranges from homeware and furniture to Christmas decorations, accessories, gifts, crafts, and toys plus food and drink.

British lifestyle store Oliver Bonas will soon be opening a new, upsized store at St David’s. The expanded 2,885 sq ft unit will allow guests to browse even more of the brand’s unique and colourful fashion, accessory, homeware, and gift collections.

Helen Morgan, Centre Director of St David’s Cardiff, commented:

“These new, in-demand brands are fantastic additions to the Welsh retail scene and it’s great to see our guests exploring them alongside their firm favourites in St David’s.

“The recent openings and expansions demonstrate brand confidence in the centre and our retail mix, and gives our guests even more options in the run up to Black Friday and Christmas.”

On choosing to upsize at St David’s, Oliver Bonas founder Oliver Tress commented:

“We’re thrilled to open our new, much larger store in Cardiff’s St David’s, giving us the space to bring an even broader selection of our distinctive Oliver Bonas designs to the city. This expanded 2,885-square-foot location allows us to create an inspiring shopping experience where customers can explore our full range of fashion, homeware, and gifts in a beautiful new setting.”

For a limited time, St David’s visitors can also visit pop-up stores especially for the festive season including Rustic Charm, Calendar Club, and House of Tweed.
