The Met Office have issued a yellow warning for wind, which will impact Wrexham and Flintshire from 12am until 9pm on Sunday.
They’ve said that a prolonged period of strong winds will likely lead to some disruption over the weekend, especially to travel.
Gusts of up to 60mph are expected quite widely, with winds of over 70mph in some coastal and hilly areas.
The region was recently battered by Storm Darragh, with significant damage being caused, now more strong winds are set to hit.
Usually during periods of high winds, the viaducts are closed, resulting in heavy traffic through surrounding towns and villages like Llangollen and Overton, as motorists follow diversions.
