Think Acquisition Facilitates JW Block Management’s Sale, Supporting Seraph’s Expansion into London and the South West

Date:

Seraph, a leading property management company based in Cardiff, has successfully acquired JW Block Management, a family-run property management business known for its client service and presence in Bristol and London. This strategic acquisition reflects Seraph’s commitment to expanding its footprint in London while further developing its management portfolio across the South West.

Think Acquisition, a business brokerage specialising in the property services sector, supported the sellers throughout the sale from instruction to completion. The team identified strategic buyers, negotiated the offer and managed the deal to completion.

Jo Ward, the former owner of JW Block Management, shared her thoughts on the experience:

“We have worked with Leon over the sale of our Block Management Company and, never having done this before, his guidance and advice were invaluable and very professional. We would highly recommend Think Acquisition to anyone thinking of selling or buying and wanting the assistance of a knowledgeable and professional company.”

Douglas Haig, Director of Seraph, highlighted the importance of this acquisition:

“We have been building both our London and Bristol business and this acquisition fitted perfectly into these growth markets.  Leon and the team ensured the right information was presented to us to make a quick decision and were on hand to help move things forwards when necessary.  However, Jo and her team did an amazing job of ensuring the handover was smooth and ordered, certainly the easiest deal we’ve done so far and it’s a pleasure to continue working with her in some capacity.”

Leon Gorman, Deal Lead at Think Acquisition, reflected on the deal:

“We thoroughly enjoyed working with both parties on this transaction and extend our thanks to both the buyer and seller for their collaboration. Jo and Neil were exemplary clients – well-prepared, responsive, and deeply invested in ensuring a smooth transition. Douglas and his team at Seraph were the ideal buyers, with their focus on customer service, integrity and, particularly, their vision for continued long-term expansion. This deal exemplifies the value of strategic alignment in acquisitions.”

Special thanks to Darwin Gray (seller’s solicitor) and Hugh James (buyer’s solicitor) for their expertise and dedication in facilitating a smooth legal process and ensuring completion within the agreed timescale.
