The Woodworks Garden Centre and Café, situated in Mold, has announced yet more award success with one win and a runner-up position at the recent Garden Centre Association (GCA) North Regional Awards.
The GCA, formed in 1966, represents the leading garden centres both in the UK and worldwide as part of its membership of the International Garden Centre Association (IGCA). Each garden centre has to achieve a high level of good business practice before it can be accepted as an Approved Member.
Woodworks was a joint winner in the Local Garden Centre category for Outdoor Living Award for Best Outdoor Living Retailer. The Award was given thanks to the “brilliant effort” the whole team has made in creating a great shopping space within The Mill, the outdoor living display area and beyond. From the biggest display in the UK of Zest Outdoor Living timber garden furniture to stunning arrays of both outdoor and indoor plants to speciality gifts, Woodworks offers a wide range of options for today’s outdoor living enthusiast.
In addition, the Centre was placed as joint runner up in the Local Garden Centre category for Catering Excellence for Best Garden Centre Restaurant. This is testament to the continued excellence of the Woodworks Café team, from the service provided to the quality of food on offer.
