Solange Knowles Gets Dreamy in New Wales Bonner Campaign

Solange is the queen of soothing aesthetics and soulful music, and her latest campaign for Wales Bonner is like stepping into a cozy dream. It is titled “Dream Study” after all.

Shot by Zoe Ghertner and styled by Camilla Nickerson, the campaign promotes the Autumn/Winter 2024 collection from Wales Bonner, and in the shots, Knowles alternates between finely-tailored blazers and slacks, a macrame dress, a top embroidered with mirror discs, and more.

The campaign features sculptural work from New York-based artist Kayode Ojo, with design from the Peter Miles Studio. In a few artsy shots, Knowles poses behind stray sparks, like she’s standing next to a late-summer campfire.

Chopard

Bella Hadid is racking up ambassadorships almost as much as she racks up modeling gigs. On September 5, it was announced that the Orebella founder has been named the new global ambassador of Chopard.

To coincide with the announcement, a series of portraits shot by Alasdair McLellan were shared, which see Hadid looking positively elegant in a series of black-and-white outfits as she models jewelry from the luxury accessories brand.

In a statement, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard Caroline Scheufel said, “Bella epitomizes the spirit of Chopard: a harmonious mix of effortless elegance and a zest for life that are truly enchanting and perfectly resonate with what our watches and jewelry stand for. We are excited about embarking on this new journey together.”

Devon Lee Carlson Continues Her Fashion-Filled Week with 7 For All Mankind Campaign

It certainly hasn’t been a dull week for Devon Lee Carlson. On Wednesday, September 4, the influencer walked in her first-ever runway show, modeling a look from the Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which consisted of a baby pink blazer and black separates. Now, she’s the face of a new campaign for 7 For All Mankind, making it even more of a fashion-filled week for her.

“This is the start of our journey, a transformation from a brand people trust to a brand people love,” Global President Sacha Gomez de Zamora Ford said. “We are feeling good about the new product – innovative denim with a point of view, premium leather, shearling, cashmere and more. This is an invitation to step into the world of 7 and join us in this new chapter.”

You can shop the pieces from the denim brand’s Fall/Winter ’24 collection here.

FKA Twigs Unveils Her First Activewear Collection as a Creative Partner at On

Earlier this year, it was revealed that FKA Twigs had joined the On team as a Creative Partner, where she will tap into her love of dance and movement to help inspire future activewear collections. Now, we finally have the first look at the types of pieces the multi-talented star will help inspire with her role at the company.

In a new campaign, titled “The body is art,” the singer and actor models athleisure pieces from On’s Fall/Winter ’24 collection, like training shoes, crop tops, athletic shorts, and more.

“Training puts me in a different mind and body space that elevates me to a higher frequency,” Twigs said in a statement. “When I train, I feel very beautiful, but it’s a beauty from the inside. It’s got nothing to do with how I look on the outside. It’s just a beautiful feeling. The body is art, so why don’t we approach it that way?”

To coincide with the release, Twigs will host a live performance in London on September 16, where she will embody the themes of the collection through an immersive art experience. You can shop the new collection here.

Prada Wants You to Call Their Hotline

Prada Group

Perhaps the most-talked about book of summer 2024 has been Miranda July’s All Fours, a shocking, hot, and totally unique story that explores womanhood, aging, and desire.

With July at the center of the cultural conversation, Prada’s timing couldn’t have been better, as they just tapped the writer and artist to help with a new campaign, called “The Miranda July Hotline.”

On billboards that were erected in New York, Milan, Los Angeles, London, and Bangkok, callers are asked to dial 833-526-8880, where they are met by recordings of July’s voice, which brings to life conversations from the Prada Fall/Winter 2024 campaign. To promote the hotline, images of stars like Hunter Schafer and Letitia Wright feature them posing with phones, and the text asks fans to dial in. Talk about an interactive experience.

Loewe Makes a Supersize Statement

Saks Fifth Avenue

Back before there were social media takeovers and viral influencers, brands used to get most of their press through word of mouth, or maybe a nice window display that could grab your eye as you walked down the street.

To celebrate the beginning of New York Fashion Week, Loewe teamed up with Saks to launch a takeover of the retailer’s New York City flagship, while offering an exclusive edit of the brand’s Fall/Winter ’24 collection—marking the biggest collaboration between the two yet. But the best part was their grand-scale vision for window displays.

Across six different windows on Fifth Avenue, the brand has installed dramatically enlarged versions of the vegetable-inspired accessories that went down the runway last spring. Better yet, the inside of the stores have been filled with equally-dramatic sculptures.

For those who can pull their eyes away from the displays, there are exclusive versions of the squeeze bag, as well as ready-to-wear and shoe styles, which will only be available to purchase at the brick-and-mortar stores or on saks.com. Now that’s how you make a statement.
