Temu: Small business owner finds card designs on website

Date:

Anwen Roberts owns design company Draenog, and said she found versions of her Welsh-language products on the giant Chinese-based online retailer Temu.

Her cards had been copied without permission, and though they took the design down once notified, Ms Roberts said she worries about it happening again.

“I put a lot of energy and a lot of thought into all the welsh cards that I make and they just take the images and use them and make money,” she said.

She said she wants to put her time into making new designs rather than going up against big companies who are taking the work of small businesses without permission.
