Studio Becomes Home to Industry-leading Virtual Production Facility

A state-of-the-art virtual production facility has launched at Dragon Studios in Pencoed.

fivefold studios describes itself as a ‘creative hub where innovation and cutting-edge technology meet’, and says it aims to boost the film and television production landscape in the region and beyond.

The studio includes Europe’s largest fixed green screen cove, spanning 5,000 sq ft and measuring 33 ft in height, as well as the latest In-Camera Visual Effects techniques alongside performance capture solutions and advanced AI production tools.

In addition, fivefold will provide industry-led training programmes in partnership with Media Cymru.
