A North Wales business networking group is heading to Bangor for its next free-to-attend event, where it will be hosted by a charity which provides vital support for families in the area.
The 4NorthWales group was established by Lanyon Bowdler solicitors and Barclays Bank to bring professionals together to meet like-minded people at different locations across North Wales.
Its next event will be held on October 10 at St David’s Hospice’s Hafan Dewi Sant Palliative Care Drop-in Centre in Bangor, when people will also be able to learn more about the amazing work carried out by the charity.
Emma Deering, of Lanyon Bowdler, which has offices in Conwy and provides legal support for clients all over North Wales, said anyone interested in attending should book now to avoid disappointment.
She said:
“We are delighted to announce our next 4NorthWales networking event. It is a free, informal occasion and the latest in a series of successful events to be held.
“We are really looking forward to attending St David’s Hospice and thank the team there for hosting and allowing us to visit Hafan Dewi Sant in Bangor – one of two day therapy centres operated by the hospice offering support to patients and their families across Anglesey, Conwy and Gwynedd. The other centre is located in Llandudno.
“The ethos of Hafan Dewi Sant is to support and enable those with life-limiting illness to remain as independent as possible. They provide holistic care and support, prioritising comfort and improving the quality of life of their patients through a variety of services, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and counselling.
“North Wales has many unique attractions and we aim to bring people together to discover some of these by holding our free quarterly networking event in different locations across the area.
“They provide the opportunity to connect and discuss relevant and current topics without formality or strict agenda, and our event on October 10 also has the added attraction of learning more about St David’s Hospice.
“Barclays and Lanyon Bowdler are committed to supporting our local communities and events like 4NorthWales enable us to find out what the topical issues of the day are, and how they relate to us and our community.”
