Gambit Corporate Finance (“Gambit”) has acted as lead financial advisor to Journey Hospitality Limited (“Journey”), in securing growth capital funding. A multi-million-pound facility has been secured through Growth Lending, which will support further investment in the business.
Journey is a provider of ecommerce led software and services. The company’s next generation software is transforming the independent hotel ecommerce market, supporting hotels to increase their direct revenue, driving both growth and higher margin returns. The solution also drives stronger guest interaction, improving the overall experience. The proposition benefits both the hotelier and guests, making it hugely attractive.
The business’s software revenue has been growing by over 48% YOY and this trajectory should only improve. With recent additions to the product range, alongside strategic software integrations with selective major corporates in the market, it is very well positioned. Coupling this with an underlying trend of hotels embracing technology to improve guest experience and enhance operational efficiencies, Journey has a great platform for further growth
Journey was formed in 2012, originally a full-service marketing agency, which has developed to become a tech led business focussed on luxury resort hotels. Averroes Capital invested in Journey in November ’22 and have been instrumental in supporting with both the Premier Acquisition and the organic growth strategy.
