Solange Knowles Stars In Wales Bonner’s ‘Dream Study’ Campaign For AW24 | Fashion | Clash Magazine Music News, Reviews & Interviews

British-Jamaican designer Graces Wales Bonner has invited long time friend and collaborator Solange Knowles to be the face of the Wales Bonner AW24 campaign, titled ‘Dream Study’.

Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2014, Grace Wales Bonner has carved out a distinct space in the London fashion scene, offering a new perspective of contemporary luxury as she blends influences from European and African dressing.

This campaign further cements Wales Bonner’s rich and expansive relationship with Solange,

Captured in New York by photographer Zoe Ghertner, the campaign sees Solange in four Wales Bonner looks alongside a sculptural piece  by artist Kayode Ojo titled, An Excellent Specimen (2019).. The campaign is an exercise in cross-cultural elegance and craftsmanship. The Study Blazer and Raga Trousers in soft cashmere wool showcase the bounds of fine Italian tailoring, Solange wears the Cairo ensemble before a blue backdrop, emphasising the skillful craftsmanship of Indian embroidery with intricately applied mirrors, and The Story Necklace makes a triumphant return in a new colourway with a gentle arrangement of magical Kenyan glass beads, lapis lazuli, handmade Ghanaian beads and millefiori murano rondelles. Under golden lights Solange also wears a macrame dress from the Wales Bonner archives.

The Autumn Winter 2024 collection is now available at walesbonner.com and select retailers worldwide.
