The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for strong winds in Wales today (August 22), with gusts of 50mph and 60mph predicted in areas with bridges in North Wales.
Its warning added that strong winds may lead to some travel disruption this morning, with some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport likely.

It is also likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.
Based on weather forecasts, Traffic Wales issues the following guidance:
Wind speed of over 30mph
- 30mph speed limit on the bridge.
Wind speeds over 40mph
- 30mph speed limit on the bridge.
- Restrictions on the bridge for motorbikes, caravans and cyclists.
Wind speeds over 63mph
- 30mph speed limit on the bridge.
- Restrictions on the bridge for motorbikes, caravans and cyclists.
- Only cars and vans (derived from cars) can use the bridge.
Wind speeds over 70mph
- The bridge will be closed to all traffic until the speed has decreased.
