This holiday season is a family affair for Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their three children George, Louis, and Charlotte.
This evening, the entire family stepped out for Together at Christmas, the Princess of Wales’s annual Christmas Carol service at Westminster Abbey. Middleton offered a master class in festive dressing, wearing a red Alexander McQueen coat with a black bow as well as a pair of seasonally appropriate black boots. Princess Charlotte, meanwhile, looked like her mother’s mini-me in a burgundy coat dress and navy tights. George and Louis wore coordinating navy blue suits and red ties—much like their father, Prince William.
Inside, Louis held a candle as they all sang traditional holiday hymns… even pausing for a moment to help light the one held by his older sister, Charlotte. She, in turn, helped her elder brother, Prince George.
While any appearance from the full Wales family is notable, this one felt particularly significant. Middleton spent much of 2024 removed from royal duties as she battled cancer, meaning that her children largely stayed out of the spotlight as well. (“We hope that you’ll understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space, and privacy while I complete my treatment,” Middleton said in the emotional video message confirming her diagnosis.)
