McCoist’s Marksmen: Musiala, Gakpo and Johnson all to score – (was 12/1) NOW 14/1 – CLAIM HERE
1. Jamal Musiala to score against Hungary (Tue, 7:45pm)
Musiala will be looking to get back two goals in two games for Germany this international break having opened the scoring two minutes into their 7-0 thumping of Bosnia in Freiburg on Saturday night.
The win sealed Germany’s first place finish in Group A3, and the attacking midfielder will be looking to add his 11 goals for club and country so far this season, with only Harry Kane having scored more for Bayern Munich in the current campaign.
The 21-year-old has scored five goals in his last eight games for his national team, including in each of his last two games against tonight’s opponents Hungary, once in the Euros in the summer and the second in a 5-0 win over the same opponents in Dusseldorf in their opening game of the campaign.
2. Cody Gakpo to score against Bosnia (Tue, 7:45pm)
Like Musiala, Gakpo will be looking for his second goal of the week later tonight as his Netherlands side take on an already-relegated Bosnia side in Zenica tonight, opponents the Liverpool forward has already scored against this season in the return fixture.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals in his last four games for club and country in all competitions, against Bayer Leverkusen and Brighton for the Reds and struck against Hungary in the Oranje‘s 4-0 win in Amsterdam on Saturday night.
3. Brennan Johnson to score against Iceland (Tue, 7:45pm)
Brennan Johnson and his Wales side take part in a crucial Nations League clash against Iceland in Cardiff tonight, with the Dragons still able to finish in any of the top three positions heading into tonight’s crunch final game.
Johnson, who will play a crucial role for his country tonight as they seek automatic promotion from Group B4, is Tottenham’s top goal scorer this season, and has already scored against Iceland this campaign, scoring the opener in a 2-2 draw in Reykjavik last month.
The 23-year-old winger has eight goals to his name for club and country this season, and will feature heavily as his side look to avoid defeat tonight to avoid a relegation play-off, but also know a win combined with Turkey losing in Montenegro will seem them finish first and achieve promotion back to League A automatically.
