Get ready for a lively day of fun, learning, and connection tomorrow at the Living Well in Carmarthenshire event! Join us on November 29, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Princess Gwenllian Centre in Kidwelly, where Carmarthenshire County Council is bringing together local services, resources, and activities to help residents of all ages discover what it means to live well.
During the day, attendees can enjoy a play activity with the Play Team, a seated movement session, an Energy Efficiency workshop, sample fitness opportunities with Actif Leisure and a standing pilates taster session. Each activity is designed to help you discover new ways to live well, stay active, and connect with others.
In addition to the activities, there will be over 45 information stands representing a variety of services from Health, Local Authority, and the third sector. These stands will provide valuable resources and support, offering attendees a chance to learn about health, wellness, and community engagement.
This Living Well in Carmarthenshire event is part of Carmarthenshire County Council’s ongoing efforts to support health and wellness in the community, offering accessible, preventative resources that help everyone thrive. Representatives from local services will be on hand to offer guidance, answer questions, and discuss how to stay healthy, active, and engaged within our community.
Refreshments will be available, so come along with your friends and family to enjoy a day focused on living well!
Cllr Jane Tremlett, Cabinet Member for Health & Social Services said:
