How to watch Wales v Springboks: TV channel, live stream and kick-off time

Date:

Wales will take on South Africa at the Principality Stadium this Saturday in the final Autumn Nations Series fixture for both sides.

The match in Cardiff kicks off at 5.40pm. Fans can watch the fixture on TNT Sports. Those who do not have a TNT Sports subscription can sign up for a monthly pass at TNT to watch the final games in the series.

The monthly pass is priced at £30.99 and you can buy it on the TNT website. Fans will also be able to watch it on S4C in Wales.

11-game losing run

It has been a mixed bag for the two sides. Wales were defeated by Fiji 24-19 in their opening game and followed up with a humiliating 52-20 loss to Australia. It is Warren Gatland’s side’s 11th defeat in a row.

Gatland told TNT Sports of the Springboks: “They will be physical. You’ve got to go there and make sure that you turn up in the right state of mind and make sure that you stay focused for the full 80 minutes.”

South Africa have fared much better, beating Scotland 32-15 and then defeating England at Twickenham in a 29-20 victory. The Springboks top the world rankings narrowly ahead of Ireland and New Zealand and a win would solidify their position at the top of the world game.

It means Wales are still searching for their first win of the series while world champions South Africa will want to extend their 100% record. South Africa have the edge, having already beaten Wales 41-13 in the summer at Twickenham.

Two weekends to go

The Autumn Nations Series has just two weekends of action left. France take on Argentina on Friday night followed by Ireland versus Fiji at 3.10pm on Saturday. Wales and South Africa will be followed by Italy versus New Zealand in Saturday’s late game.

England take on Japan on Sunday and Scotland will play Australia. It will then leave one final game next week when Ireland face Australia in the last of the Autumn Internationals.
