Housing Association Appoints New Director of Assets and Property

Date:

Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) has announced the appointment of Andrew Bradley as their new Corporate Director of Assets and Property.

With over 30 years of experience in the social housing sector, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the position. He joined CCHA in November 2019 and quickly established himself as a key member of the team, becoming Head of Asset Management and Decarbonisation in February 2021.

In his new role, Andrew will provide strategic leadership to the Assets and Property Directorate, ensuring the delivery of the teams’ priorities and aligning them with CCHA’s corporate strategy and values.

Brian Pickett, CEO at CCHA said:

“I am delighted to welcome Andrew to CCHA’s Corporate Leadership Team. He has been an incredibly valued colleague since he joined us almost five years ago. His values completely align with what we are trying to achieve as a Caring Landlord, and I know he puts tenants first in the decisions he makes. Huge welcome to the Corporate Leadership Team Andrew.”

Before joining CCHA, Andrew served as Head of Property for Trivallis for over five years. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Andrew is a respected industry expert, serving as an Internal Verifier and examiner for the Chartered Institute of Building.

Andrew said:

“I’m thrilled to take up the position of Director of Assets and Property at CCHA. Thanks to increased investment and significant grant funding, our existing properties have undergone considerable improvements over the past five years. We’ve prioritised fire safety in mid to high-rise buildings and enhanced energy efficiency through retrofitting low EPC-rated homes. This has not only made our properties safer but also more affordable for our tenants. Planned maintenance will remain a key focus, and I’m eager to work with tenants to ensure we continue delivering the homes and services they want and need.”
