Food industry jobs available at Holyhead recruitment event

Date:

Working Wales, in partnership with Llechwedd Meats, is organising the event, which will take place on Friday, October 4.

It will be held at the Careers Wales centre in Holyhead from 12pm to 2pm.

Attendees will have the chance to explore roles at Llechwedd Meats, a family-run business known for its quality meat products.

The company is looking to fill several vacancies, including positions for butchers, telesales and sales advisors, as well as shop sales assistants.

Applicants must be aged 18 and over.

Anyone bringing their CV will be guaranteed a same-day interview.

Working Wales will also provide CV and interview preparation support.

Representatives from Llechwedd Meats will be present to provide detailed information about the available roles, including job descriptions and responsibilities, and answer any questions.

Arwel Owen, Working Wales team manager, said: “We are thrilled to support Llechwedd Meats in finding the right candidates for their vacancies.

“This recruitment event is an excellent opportunity for individuals to explore local job opportunities and ask questions directly to the employers themselves.

“Not only that, but they can receive tailored support from our dedicated team before applying for any roles they’re interested in, all in one day.”

During the event, and beforehand, careers advisers from Working Wales will be available to provide free employability support, including assistance with CV writing and interview preparation.

It is recommended to book a free appointment in advance to secure a spot.

Working Wales, delivered by Careers Wales and funded by the Welsh Government, provides careers guidance and employability support to those aged 16 and above.
