Finalists Announced for the 10th Anniversary Cardiff Business Awards

Date:

The finalists for the 10th Cardiff Business Awards have been announced.

This year 72 companies and entrepreneurs have been shortlisted over 17 categories.

They will be invited to an interview with a panel of judges chaired by Kay Martin MBE, previously principal of the Cardiff and Vale College Group. The winners of each category, as well as the Cardiff Business of the Year, will be announced at the awards evening which will be held on Friday November 8 at Mercure Holland House, Cardiff. and hosted by broadcaster, Jamie Owen. The ceremony will be attended by over 400 guests from the Cardiff business community.

Liz Brookes of Grapevine Event Management said:

“We are really pleased to announce the 10th Cardiff Business Awards shortlist. The support again this year for the awards has been exceptional. For 10 years we have been part of celebrating and honouring the incredible businessmen and women of the city. This year the shortlist is again fantastic and we can’t wait to meet the entrepreneurs at the judging interviews.”

Ken Poole MBE, head of Economic Development for Cardiff Council, said:

“Once again, the quality and range of businesses entering the Cardiff Business Awards 2024 has been exceptional. Applicants include some of our well-known businesses and a wide range of new companies from across the business sectors. Arriving at a short list has proved challenging due to the quality of applicants but we believe we now have a very strong short list going into the final selection stage.”

Natasha Ives, Marketing Manager, Euroclad Group, who are headline sponsors of the awards, said:

Another year of exceptional entries submitted for the Cardiff Business Awards, making the short list decision process extremely difficult for the judging panel. That being said it is great to see so many diverse local businesses thriving in the city centre, and I am looking forward to meeting some of these companies during the next stage. Good luck everyone.”
