Conwy Glamping Site Gets 5-Star Rating from Visit Wales

Date:

Tan y Bryn Glamping, a premier luxury glamping site located in Conwy, has recently been awarded a 5-star grading from Visit Wales. The prestigious recognition highlights the exceptional quality and service that the homegrown family run site offers to its guests.

Nestled in the scenic beauty of North Wales, Tan y Bryn Glamping has garnered a reputation for its outstanding facilities and unique experiences, which according to owner Jenny Jarvis, attracts a wealth of visitors from across the UK to Wales each year.

Each of the site’s glamping pods, which were built with economy and the environment in mind, boast luxurious, comfortable interiors, complete with hot tubs for relaxation. Visit Wales were quick to dish out the 5-star rating thanks to the site’s outdoor cinema, vibrant outdoor bar, and a wood-fired pizza oven in selected pods, each of which contribute to guests’ overall experience of Wales and the outdoors.

All these amenities, however, are secondary to the site’s stunning views of the North Wales coast and landscape – and the 5-star rating is testament to the area’s natural beauty, which Jenny and the team wish to celebrate year on year.

The Visit Wales accolade follows a wealth of positive feedback for the glamping site, including the Go North Wales Best Newcomer Award 2022 followed by the Go Glamping, Camping and Caravan Park of the Year 2023, as well as the Booking.com Traveller of the Year Award in 2023 with an average guest score of 9.8.

Jenny said: “I am overjoyed to have been awarded 5-stars by Visit Wales for Tan y Bryn Glamping. We’re a family operation and so much passion and energy has gone into creating a memorable experience for all of our guests. We have been lucky enough to have received hundreds of 5-star online reviews since our opening 3 short years ago and to be recognised as such by Visit Wales is such an honour.

“The tourism industry is a huge part of the economy here in North Wales, and we’re dedicated to enhancing the visitor experience and adapting our site to guests’ needs such as the dog-friendly glamping pods, while staying true to our cultural heritage and celebrating our Welshness.”

Since its inception, Tan y Bryn Glamping has welcomed a diverse array of guests, from local visitors to those travelling from afar, offering year-round accommodation, including during the festive Christmas season. As a testament to its popularity and high standards, the glamping park is now booking winter breaks, with limited summer availability remaining.
