Chinese zodiac signs that will be ‘luckiest’ this week includes the Dragon

Date:

The Chinese zodiac, known as ‘Shengxiao’ assigns an animal and its reputed attributes to each year in a repeating 12-year cycle of the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.

Each year is associated with an animal sign according to a cycle, with 2024 being the Year of the Wood Dragon (February 10, 2024, to January 28, 2025).

Despite being regarded as the most prosperous zodiac of them all, 2024 hasn’t been a particularly lucky year for those born in the Year of the Dragon. That is, until this week.

According to Valeria Black, a Tarot reader, astrologer and medium, fortune will strike for some – but not all animals in the week beginning Monday, July 15.

Sharing her insight on Your Tango, she said: “Five Chinese zodiac signs will be the luckiest. They are; Dragon, Goat, Pig, Rooster, and Horse. But the rest are encouraged to not let fears rule them.”

Luckiest Chinese zodiac signs this week

1. Dragon

Those born in the years 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, and 2024 will reap the benefits of their energy this week. Valeria described this as “created luck”, noting that people should lean into those relationships that have historically shown them loyalty.

The medium suggested “pulling away from those that have raised your red flags”, and urged: “Sometimes, being lucky is more about honouring the signs and intuitive nudges than about stumbling into something extraordinary.” As for lucky motifs, the colours gold, green, and violet are the ones to look out for.

2. Pig

People who associate with the year of the Pig (1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, and 2031) may find themselves lucky in love this week. Described as “relationship luck” by Valeria, this fortune comes by embracing the value of life in all its moments, good and bad, with loved ones.

The astrologer said: “In them, you will discover luck, love, and everything in between. The colours red, green, and blue will be lucky for you this week.”

3. Goat

Luck is somewhat written in the stars this week for those born in the year of the Goat (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, and 2027). This week is all about observing the signs and synchronicities and following through.

Valeria said: “If you see repeating numbers, note them down and try to determine what they mean. You are about to enter a significant period of astrological life, and this is just one of the blessings paving the way for you. The colours red and green will be lucky for you this week!”

4. Rooster

More ‘self-made’ luck is on the cards for those born in the years of the Rooster; 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, and 2029, says Valeria. She said: “Rooster, your luck this week has a peaceful – almost saintly – quality to it. Go slow, and you will discover the hidden gems of life in the most unexpected of places.”

The colours green, blue, and violet will be lucky for those born in the year of the Rooster, but they are urged to be mindful of their energy while at this. Like attracts like, and positive attracts positivity, warned Valeria.

5. Horse

Pegged for ‘sudden luck’ the Horse is on a winning streak of being among the luckiest Chinese zodiac signs this year, along with the Pig.

Those born in the year of the Horse (1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, and 2026) will find out what’s behind closed doors this week, particularly if they are engaging with someone new in love, claimed the astrologer. She said: “You will not be disappointed.”

As for lucky motifs, the colours gold, violet and purple are ones to watch – especially if wearing shoes that sport one or more of these colours.
