Broughton Shopping Park has announced its opening hours for the festive season, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to shop, dine, and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
With extended hours in the run-up to Christmas, the shopping park aims to make last-minute shopping and festive outings easier for families and friends.
Extended Christmas Opening Hours
The shopping park will offer late-night shopping on several days leading up to Christmas, with times varying by store. Visitors are advised to check with individual retailers before planning their trip.
The confirmed opening hours for Broughton Shopping Park during the Christmas period are:
- Friday 20th December: 9am – 9pm
- Saturday 21st December: 9am – 7pm
- Sunday 22nd December: 10am – 5pm
- Monday 23rd December: 9am – 9pm
- Tuesday 24th December (Christmas Eve): 9am – 5pm
- Wednesday 25th December (Christmas Day): Closed
- Thursday 26th December (Boxing Day): 9am – 6pm
- Friday 27th December: 9am – 9pm
- Saturday 28th December: 9am – 7pm
- Sunday 29th December: 10am – 5pm
- Monday 30th December: 9am – 9pm
- Tuesday 31st December (New Year’s Eve): 9am – 5pm
- Wednesday 1st January (New Year’s Day): 9am – 6pm
- Thursday 2nd January: Normal hours resume (9am – 8pm).
Alan Pruden-Barker, centre manager at Broughton, said: “Whether you’re visiting to pick up last-minute Christmas gifts, enjoy a festive meal, or simply to spend time with loved ones, we’re here right up until Christmas Eve to ensure you can get everything you need.”
Spreading Festive Cheer
In addition to its extended hours, Broughton Shopping Park has been spreading holiday cheer through community initiatives and exclusive seasonal offerings.
In collaboration with Age Connects North East Wales and Age UK Cheshire, the shopping park has hosted its Merry Mailbox initiative.
The campaign collects and delivers heartfelt Christmas cards to older members of the community who may be experiencing isolation over the festive season.
Visitors have also been invited to take part in creating their dream hot chocolate flavours. The shopping park partnered with local resident Elizabeth Hughes to bring her winning flavour idea to life.
Available at Donut Theatre until 31st December, the limited-edition seasonal hot chocolate is a must-try treat for visitors.
