Brecon Carreg has been announced as the headline sponsor of this year’s CDF 10K.
The race was added to Run 4 Wales’ portfolio of world-class mass participation events in 2023, when thousands of runners took to the Welsh capital for the event which had been on hiatus since 2019.
After last year’s success, there’s since been huge demand ahead of its return on Sunday 1 September. The 2024 edition is now set to be the biggest yet, turning it into one of the UK’s fastest growing distance events.
Brecon Carreg has supported the Run 4 Wales Cardiff Bay 10K as headline sponsor since 2018.The water company also supports the rest of the events in Run 4 Wales’ portfolio, ensuring runners are kept hydrated across the various water stations and finish lines.
Eleri Morgan, Brecon Carreg’s Brand Manager, said:
“Brecon Carreg is extremely proud to work with Run 4 Wales across its portfolio of events. After sponsoring the Cardiff Bay 10K for the past six years we’re looking forward to branching out and becoming headline sponsor of this year’s CDF 10K, keeping runners hydrated and improving the sustainability of the event by helping to ensure everybody recycles.”
Matt Newman, Chief Executive at Run 4 Wales, added:
“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with our friends at Brecon Carreg to the CDF 10K. It’s an exciting time to be part of the event which has become the largest 10K in Wales.
“We can’t thank Brecon Carreg enough for their continued support across our events. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the 2024 Brecon Carreg CDF 10K on Sunday 1 September in an extremely exciting year for it as it continues to grow.”
