Wales Bonner x adidas has produced some outright riots online, becoming some of the most coveted sportswear – and footwear – on the market. Their latest collection for Spring/Summer 2024 infuses national pride alongside athleisure and a few dedicated menswear items.
With their Samba collaborations being some of the best on the market right now, it seems right to start in the footwear space. Debuting in the early 00s, the adidas Millenium features a similar low-cut and athletic look, although footballs are traded for bowling balls. The wide silhouette is painted in spliced brown leather, with one pair utilising a blue ponyhair on the rear portion. Samba MNs and SL72s make up the rest of the footwear, seeing bright shades such as canary yellow and baby blue take up the colour schemes.
As far as the clothing goes, there’s a lot to gawk at. Seemingly preparing fans for the Olympics this summer in Paris, team Jamaica, France, and Holland colourways span tank tops and short sets, bright t-shirts, and full-length zip-ups. Plaid and houndstooth make up the rest of the apparel, while some pieces applied the patterns with muted and more formal colours like black and beige on the trench coats, whilst others saw volt green added to the mix.
