North Wales whisky business Aber Falls Distillery is hosting its first trade expo.
Billed as a ‘hotel edition’, the event is open to hoteliers and includes the opportunity to discover all aspects of its award-winning portfolio and Visitor Centre offering, as well as having an opportunity to engage with other Welsh food and drink suppliers and wholesalers.
The networking event will take place on Tuesday November 12, where local hoteliers are invited to learn about the 100% single malt Welsh whisky through educational sessions and cocktail classes.
Aber Falls Distiller, Sam Foster, will be hosting a meet the distiller session, giving hoteliers a chance to ask any questions about the distilling process, and the whisky industry in Wales. Jillian Boyd, Aber Falls’ master blender, will also be holding whisky master classes delving into the blending process and art behind making Aber Falls whisky.
Welsh representatives from Total Food Marketing will be in attendance, discussing the importance of tourism in North Wales and the value of Welshness. Aber Falls said it was keen to help build strong relationships with hoteliers in the region, to enable local businesses to support one another and celebrate Welsh culture. There will also be exclusive product deals on the day.
The event will have two slots, 11am – 3pm and 5pm – 9pm.
