Company spreads festive cheer at care homes across North Wales

Date:

Colwyn Bay-based Enhanced Healthcare has been visiting care homes across the region delivering festive arts and crafts sessions to hundreds of residents.

This comes after the recruitment agency – named Health and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year at the British Business Awards – cemented its place among the ‘leading and most caring names in the sector.’

With more than 170 employees, founder Chanel Williams said their commitment to ‘their people’ is unwavering.

Ms Williams said: “To win such a prestigious award was amazing and is testament to the incredible dedication of our healthcare support workers and outstanding office team.

“Without their compassion and drive none of this would be possible, and for it to come as we are visiting our care home partners across the region and delivering festive workshops is fantastic, it’s given everyone an extra dose of Christmas cheer as they have proven very popular.”

Wendy Rogers from Glan Rhos Nursing Home in Brynsiencyn, Anglesey said: “Enhanced Healthcare ran a Christmas card-making workshop for our patients.

“They were friendly, enthusiastic and very kind, taking the time to chat with everyone and making sure they all got the chance to make cards using the colours and patterns that they liked despite not everyone being able to make them themselves.

“They brought an amazing collection of materials and gave demonstrations whilst also taking an interest in each person.

“We are looking forward to seeing them again soon.”
