USW Joins Canon for First Ever Amateur Photographer Magazine Student Roadshow

Date:

The University of South Wales is hosting the first ever Student Roadshow for Amateur Photographer magazine in partnership with Canon.

The event, taking place on Wednesday 30 October at USW’s Cardiff campus, promises a day full of learning from photography professionals, hands-on tutorials and creativity.

The roadshow will run from 9.30am to 6pm, and will cover a range of disciplines, from documentary and photojournalism to art, advertising, commercial and fashion. It offers opportunities for everyone, from budding photographers to those passionate about digital storytelling, the chance to immerse themselves in the practical world of photography.

The line-up of speakers includes photojournalist Anastasia Taylor-Lind, and fashion photographer and Canon ambassador Ian Hippolyte, among many more.

The exhibitor space will offer the chance to see some of the latest photography equipment, hands-on demonstrations and a chance to try out different cameras and lighting with live models.

The day will end with drinks and networking, where attendees can connect with fellow students, speakers and industry professionals.
