QuinnBet enters Welsh rugby as Ospreys’ official betting partner | Yogonet International

Date:

UK-based betting company QuinnBet has become the official betting partner of Ospreys Rugby for the 2024/25 season, marking its first foray into Welsh rugby and professional rugby overall.

As part of the agreement, the QuinnBet logo will be featured on the back of Ospreys’ home and away shorts, as well as on the side of their European kit shorts throughout the upcoming season.

A key aspect of this partnership is a focus on promoting safer gambling awareness in sports. QuinnBet, launched in 2017 and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland, says it places a major emphasis on its commitment to responsible gambling. The company has been awarded the Independent Safer Gambling Standard by GamCare.

QuinnBet’s partnership with Ospreys is part of a broader effort to increase its brand visibility in Wales, the UK, and Ireland. Rugby is hugely popular across these regions, making this collaboration an opportunity for QuinnBet to showcase its brand to a wider audience.

“It is a real privilege for us to commence this partnership with Ospreys Rugby, a club with a rich history and strong tradition of success,” said Niall McPartland, QuinnBet’s Head of Commercial and Sponsorship. “We will utilize the partnership to promote our brand in conjunction with Safer Gambling, which is integral to our business and which Ospreys is fully supportive of.”

Ospreys CEO Lance Bradley expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership, noting the shared ambitions of both parties. “We are pleased to welcome aboard QuinnBet in what is not only their first partnership in club rugby, but their first ever in Wales,” Bradley said. “From early conversations, it was clear they fully support the ambitions of the club and we look forward to developing our relationship throughout the season.”

The Ospreys, one of the four professional rugby union teams in Wales, have produced numerous players who have gone on to represent the national team at the highest level.
