Vehicle Group Celebrates Milestone Anniversary

Date:

One of the UK’s largest supplier of vehicles to businesses is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

The lcv group, formerly known as Low Cost Vans, started in Belfast but was soon brought to Swansea by founder Rod Lloyd.

Starting with just two members of staff in Morriston, the company quickly outgrew its initial premises and moved to a larger location in Skewen, Neath, which also housed a used-vehicle site. In 2018, Rod Lloyd acquired full ownership of the company from his three business partners, driving further expansion into new areas such as vehicle hire and fleet services.

In 2022, the company rebranded to the lcv group, marking a new era with the acquisition of TR Fleet.

Earlier this year the lcv group relocated to a larger premises in the heart of Swansea. The company has been recognised with numerous awards across the years, including most recently being named Best Mid-Size Broker at the Broker News Awards earlier this year.

“We’re proud of our past but even more excited about our future,” said Rod Lloyd, CEO of the lcv group. “We’re committed to progressing together – with our team, our customers and our community.”
