Gloucestershire Millionaire’s Mancave Is Getting Demolished

An enormous man cave casino complete with bowling alley built by a Gloucestershire millionaire will have to be torn down as a result of a decision by planners in biggest man cave’ built without permission.

Millionaire Mancave ‘Illegally’ Built 

The mancave was allegedly ‘illegally’ built, according to the Forest of Dean District Council. The council has already secured the 10,000 ft building, which houses a bowling alley, a cinema, and a casino location.  

The man cave belonged to Graham Wilding, who constructed the massive man cave in his back garden at his home on Meendhurst Road in Cinderford.  

Owner Ignored Court Orders 

It is claimed that Wildin received numerous court orders to have the building demolished, which he allegedly ignored. Wildin was also imprisoned for contempt of court.  

  • In June 2022, Wildin was found in contempt of court for non-compliance with the injunction 
  • Wildin sentenced him to six weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months 
  • Wildin appeal dismissed and given until March 10, 2022, to Comply  

Council Want Cash for Demolition Job 

A spokesperson for the council said: “As a council, it is our duty to ensure that planning and development proposals comply with the law and bring benefit to the local area, whilst also safeguarding the community.” 

The council are also looking at recovering the costs of the demolition from the landowner. 

It is not the first time Mr. Wildin has crossed swords with planners. In 2013, he attempted to build a leisure centre in the back garden of two adjacent houses he owned on the same road.
