The three remaining places at Euro 2024 are up for grabs on Tuesday, with Wales one step away from reaching their third straight finals.
Robert Page’s side face a Poland side who put five goals past Estonia without Robert Lewandowski getting on the scoresheet last Thursday, which could be an ominous sign that the Barcelona striker is due.
Elsewhere, Sheffield United’s George Baldock will try to shackle Napoli star Kvicha Kvaratskhelia when Greece travel to Georgia and Mykhailo Mudryk could be Ukraine’s dangerman against Iceland in Wroclaw.
Bet of the day
Both teams to score in Wales v Poland @ 21/20
Wales are playing well and have the momentum to make it an enjoyable evening for their fans at Cardiff City Stadium.
But games like this never go smoothly for the Dragons. Page’s team came through a nail-biter with Ukraine to reach the Qatar World Cup two years ago and something similar could be on the cards against Poland.
Both teams are scoring goals with Wales’ four against Finland topped by Poland’s five-star showing against Estonia last Thursday.
The Baltic nation had been reduced to 10 men early on, however, so Michal Probierz’s side may not be able to replicate that performance against a full-strength Wales.
Both teams have scored in the Dragons’ last four qualifiers and also in Poland’s last three, as Probierz’s defence could not keep out the Estonians even when five goals to the good.
So, with both teams to score available at odds against for this clash, it looks like the sensible way to go without worrying too much about the final result – unless you are a Wales fan.

Special of the day
Mykhailo Mudryk to score and Ukraine to win @ 85/40
Ukraine showed their resistance and mental toughness to come back from a goal down against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday night.
Trailing 1-0 as late as the 86th minute, Serhiy Rebrov’s side scored twice in the final minutes to secure their spot in this play-off final against Iceland.
They will be boosted by the return to fitness of Girona midfielder Viktor Tsygankov for this clash, but Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk could prove to be the decisive player in Wroclaw.
Although the former Shakhtar Donetsk star has struggled in the Premier League, his recent displays have suggested he might be about to turn a corner.
Mudryk has contributed two goals and an assist in his last five appearances for the Blues – three of which were as a substitute for no more than 20 minutes each time.
The 23-year-old is an undisputed starter for Rebrov and should create some danger when dribbling against Icelandic defenders lacking the agility to deal with his changes of direction.
Ukraine should prove too strong for Age Hareide’s side, who have lost three of their last four away qualifiers and will be without Blackburn’s Arnor Sigurdsson due to injury.
Long shot of the day
Georgia to qualify on penalties @ 9/1
The early evening kick-off in Tbilisi could be a slow burner as Georgia and Greece battle it out for a coveted place in Germany.
Georgia are yet to qualify for a major tournament and suffered heartbreak four years ago when North Macedonia pipped them in the play-offs.
They are a more streetwise outfit now with a few key players plying their trade in top European leagues and should not fall into any traps of Greece’s making.
And the return of Kvaratskhelia from suspension could tip the balance their way, especially as Gustavo Poyet’s side are a much stronger force at home than on their travels.
But this tie may be decided by the two goalkeepers, particularly if the teams cannot be separated after 90 or 120 minutes.
Georgia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili has a great penalty record and could outshine Odysseas Vlachodimos in a shootout.
The Valencia goalkeeper has saved almost 20% of the spot-kicks he has faced as a professional, while the Greek custodian has stopped just nine of 69 attempts – roughly 13%.
