No matter the occasion, no matter the day, you know Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales will show up in style. Time and time again, Kate’s royal fashion embodies the sought-after British royal family style, from whimsical hats to colorful ensembles. But the one trend we see more and more from her is that we see her rocking the monochromatic trend.
Kate has become less and less shy about wearing the boldest look in the room, swapping pastels and simple prints for bright colors. For those that don’t know, the monochromatic color trend is when someone styles themselves in one color of a single hue, giving a very visually appealing look. The monochromatic color trend is a staple amongst the royal family, with the late Queen Elizabeth II later being known for her vibrant, daring ensembles under the same trend. And now it seems Kate is becoming the go-to gal for making this trend her own!
While people adore her glittering gowns and casual looks, we have a particularly soft spot for her looks that show off her daring side. We don’t mean outfits that break royal protocol, we mean ones that are as vibrant as it gets!
